🇮🇳 Facts about India 🇮🇳

Tripura is a hilly state in northeast India, bordered on 3 sides by Bangladesh. It’s Capital: Agartala . The third-smallest state in the country,

Tripura meaning three cities, but the origin of the name of Tripura is still a matter of controversy among historians and researchers. … Many researchers explain the name ‘Tripura’ from its etymological origin: the word ‘Tripura’ is a compound of two separate words, ‘ tui’ (water) + ‘pra’ (near) which in totality means ‘ near water’.

The area of modern Tripura—ruled for several centuries by the Manikya dynasty —was part of an independent princely state under the protectorate of the British Empire. The independent Tripuri Kingdom (also known as Hill Tippera) joined the newly independent India in 1949. An ancient name of Tripura is Kirat Desh (English: “The land of Kirat”), probably referring to the Kirata Kingdoms or the more generic term Kirata.

Following the independence of India in 1947, Tippera district – the estate in the plains of British India – became a part of East Pakistan, and Hill Tippera remained under a regency council until 1949. The Maharani Regent of Tripura signed the Tripura Merger Agreement on 9 September 1949, as a result of which Tripura became a Part C state of India.

😳Why❓❓❓

Why First World War WWI start?

The First World War feels almost like a murder mystery, the immediate cause was the assassination of Franz Ferdinand, the archduke of Austria-Hungary . His death at the hands of Gavrilo Princip – a Serbian nationalist with ties to the secretive military group known as the Black Hand – propelled the major European military powers towards war. The First World War lasted more than four years and killed between 15 and 19 million people.

June 28, 1914 – Gavrilo Princip assassinates Franz Ferdinand.

July 28, 1914 – Austria-Hungary declares war on Serbia. That is when their supportive friend Russia, they hoped, would leap to the defense of Serbia, defeat the Habsburg armies, and help the Bosnian Serbs win their independence.

August 2, 1914 – Ottoman Empire (Turkey) and Germany sign a secret treaty of alliance.

August 3, 1914 – Germany declares war on France.

August 4, 1914 – Germany invades Belgium, leading Britain to declare war on Germany.

August 10, 1914 – Austria-Hungary invades Russia.

Many others, including Australia, India and most African colonies, fought at the behest of their imperial rulers. Imperialism was another important trend that helped expand and accelerate the war. Many of the warring countries had imperial objectives in mind when they went to war. Their motives were partly about gaining strategic advantage. Russia hoped to gain control of the Straits of Dardanelles from the Ottoman Empire, giving their fleet access to the Mediterranean Sea for the first time ever. Britain and France wanted control over parts of the Ottoman Empire. Japan joined the war on the side of the Entente (Britain, France, and Russia) because they hoped to seize some German colonies in the Pacific Ocean. This imperialism had an economic motive as well. Empires were looking to seize important trade routes and raw materials from their opponents as well as to gain strategic advantages.

🤔 How it works ⁉

x-ray machines produce a stream of electromagnetic radiation that interacts with an anode in an x-ray tube. The x-rays made by this interaction are then directed toward the part of the body being examined. X-rays can pass through nonmetallic objects, including human tissues and organs. An x-ray machine is like a giant camera that allows doctors to see what is going on inside a patient without having to do surgery.

When x-rays come into contact with our body tissues, they produce an image on a metal film. Soft tissue, such as skin and organs, cannot absorb the high-energy rays, and the beam passes through them. Dense materials inside our bodies, like bones, absorb the radiation. Much like camera film, the X-ray film develops depending on which areas were exposed to the X-rays.

1895, German physicist Wilhelm Roentgen was experimenting with electricity in a special tube. He wanted to find out how electricity would act in a vacuum. For that reason, Roentgen removed as much air from the tube as possible. That allowed electrons to move at a very fast pace through the tube.

As the electrons moved, they bumped into each other. They also ran into the glass of the tube and two special parts of the tube called the cathode and anode. What Roentgen didn’t know was that, when these fast-paced electrons bumped into the tube’s anode, they would send off a type of light that hadn’t yet been discovered. This type of light is called an x-ray.

X-rays are a type of light ray, much like the visible light we see every day. The difference between visible light and x-rays is the wavelength of the rays. Human eyes cannot see light with longer wavelengths, such as radio waves, or light with shorter wavelengths, such as x-rays.
