- Today the Karnataka High Court on Tuesday directed the Home Secretary to appear on the next date of hearing if the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) fails to grant sanction to secure the accused persons in the case pertaining to allegations of preferential treatment given to politician VK Sasikala while in prison.
- Today Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s father Nand Kumar Baghel was sent to 15 days of judicial custody by a Raipur court for allegedly making derogatory remarks against the Brahmin community.
- Today A group of 48 students from Kerala have moved the Supreme Court raising concerns about the upcoming class 11 exams for State board schools and seeking directions to adopt an alternative mode of assessment in line with CBSE and other boards which have cancelled physical exams.

- On third anniversary of the landmark ruling of the Supreme Court decriminalising consensual homosexual acts, the Kerala High Court has directed the National Medical Commission and the Undergraduate Medical Education Board to expeditiously take action to address the use of outdated, inhuman and discriminatory language and concepts used in MBBS textbooks while referring to the LGBTQIA+ community.
- Today The Supreme Court granted ad-interim bail to 97 prisoners lodged in Agra and Varanasi central jails who have undergone more than 20 years of total sentence but not released despite being entitled to premature release under the policy framed by the State government in 2018 .

- Yesterday The Supreme Court observed that when it comes to ownership of a land attached to a temple, the name of the presiding deity alone is required to be mentioned while the pujari is only to perform puja and acts as a grantee to manage the property of the deity.
