- Today The Supreme Court allowed an appeal by the Central government against a Delhi High Court judgment which had allowed a Goods and Services Tax (GST) refund of ₹923 crore to telecom operator Bharti Airtel.
- Today the Supreme Court held that a court examining whether a prima facie case exists, is not expected to hold a “mini trial” while granting bail to Thwaha Fasal and Allan Shuaib, accused under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) for having Maoist links.
- Today The Bombay High Court quashed the criminal complaint and issuance of summons by a Magistrate court to the Vice President of Amazon India Amit Agarwal.
- Today The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) issued a notice stating that it will start hearing matters physically from November 15, 2021.
- Today Former Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India Vinod Rai tendered an unconditional apology to former Congress Member of Parliament Sanjay Nirupam in a defamation case filed by the latter in Delhi’s Patiala House District Court.

- Today The Mumbai Police told the Bombay High Court that 3-days notice will be given to the Zonal Director of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Sameer Wankhede before arresting him in the extortion case initiated by the State Police against him.

- Today the Kerala government has told the Supreme Court that the Mullaperiyar dam is extremely vulnerable due to its age and large catchment area and should be decommissioned and a new dam should be built.
