  1. Today The Karnataka High Court disposed of a plea seeking directions to the Commissioner of Police not to leak information collected during the course of investigation of cases to the media.

Today The hearing in the plea before the Madras High Court by filmmaker Leena Manimekalai against the impoundment of her passport by the Passport Authority, citing a defamation case filed by Susi Ganesan, took an interesting turn when the judge called for the presence of both Manimekalai and Ganeshan.

  14. Today the Allahabad High Court was granted bail by a man accused of offences under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (NDPS Act) after 349 kilo gram (kg) ganja was allegedly recovered from him.

  17. Today The Kerala High Court ordered a probe into alleged malpractices on the optical mark recognition (OMR) sheet of a candidate who appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) held across India in September 2021.

  24. Yesterday the Delhi High Court issued notice and directed the Station House Officer (SHO) of the concerned police station to remain present in Court on the next date of hearing, in a case where two men were allegedly taken away from Delhi by the Uttar Pradesh Police.
