- Today The Himachal Pradesh High Court has denied bail to a 32 year old woman for allegedly indulging a minor girl into flesh trade with strangers, The Court observed that both the society and the State have failed to take responsibility in such cases.
- Today The Bar Council of India (BCI) has decided to extend the last date of registration for the All India Bar Exam (AIBE) XVI till 14th August 2021 and The payment for the same could be made by 20th August 2021.
- Today The Gujarat High Court has observed that an election candidate dying after the polls but before declaration of result will not be able to fill the seat and thus, the only remedy in such a situation would be to have a bye-election within the stipulated time period.
