- Today Suvendu Adhikari leader of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has approached the Supreme Court praying that the election petition filed by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in the Calcutta High Court challenging Adhikari’s election from Nandigram constituency in 2021 assembly elections, be transferred out of West Bengal.
