  1. The Mumbai Sessions Court dealing with the Prevention of Money Laundering Act cases has granted bail to former ICICI Bank Managing Director and CEO Chanda Kochhar in connection with the money laundering case involving ICICI Bank and Videocon Group companies.
  2. A Special Court at Mumbai dealing with Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act) cases placed reliance on the testimony of the 5-year old victim to reject the bail plea of the accused alleged to have committed aggravated sexual assault.
  3. The Delhi High Court on Friday granted bail to a rape accused whose name was found tattooed on the forearm of the prosecutrix.
